Comics 4-7-10
« on: April 07, 2010, 11:55:53 PM »

DC's JSA All-Stars #5 is out on the stands this week, continuing the retcon'd storyline from Justice Society.

Also, the first issue of Black Panther/Captain America: Flags Of Our Fathers, a four issue mini-series from the Marvel Knights imprint. This is a retcon'd storyline placing a Golden Age version of Cap beside the Black Panther in nazi butt kick'n action against The Red Skull.

I will check in later once I've read both.

Hi!

Unless you are sad JSA nut such as myself, save your $3.99 on the JSA All-Stars #5! Nothing original to be had here within its pages.  ::)

However, Black Panther/Captain America: Flags Of Our Fathers #1 is worth investigating. This Marvel Knights Cap does not even have Bucky as a partner yet! He wears the half mask and carries the original shield. Better yet, Sgt. Nick Fury and his Howling Commandos are support in the story. Did I mention the beautiful Klaus Janson inks on Denys Cowan's pencils? This one is a winner!  ;D
