This isn't correct, although the outer cover is from Happy Comics #3, the entire contents are those of Goofy Comics #2. This error was picked up some time ago and the correct contents of Happy Comics #3 are still unscanned.
That sounds like bad news and good news. Disappointing in that I had thought we had both Happy Comics and Goofy Comics complete. But interesting to me that there is one more large book filled with Sangor Studios animation artists' drawn funny animal stories for me to discover. You say it is "still unscanned". Does that mean that someone among the scanning community has possession of the book, and it will be scanned within several months or a year or two? Or, does it mean that no one we know has it?
GCD has the correct contents and credits, which include several great Sangor Studio animation artists, including: Jim Tyer, Al Pross, Milt Stein, Rube Grossman, Ed Harris, Otto Feuer, Larry Riley, Ben Levin, and Gene McGregor(only one I'm not very familiar with).
I'm really hoping we complete the ACG/Creston and Nedor/Standard funny animal titles before I become too senile, or poorly-seeing, or before I pass on from this life. In any case, thanks, Dave for informing us about this error.
