What an interesting article and idea. I doubt that most readers are 65 but, and it's a big but, I was at a mart in Glasgow, in the University Union and if it hadn't been for students coming in to see what was going on, then the majority of punters there were 40 and upwards. Sitting in the cafe I was chatting to a number of fans and none were under 40 and most were, like me, in their 60's. Also, I couldn't agree more with the author's view on violence in modern comics and, oh!, those terrible costume designs on freedom Fighters.
Kids do seem to be out of touch with comics and, I believe, would prefer to spend their cash on games, phones, etc.
