Interesting article about the (dreadful) 1970s live action superhero TV show:

I don't know what to say.  Never heard of or seen the show.  That Hawkman mask is funny - as in, not very good, and the Huntress costume, interesting.  I can understand why it's a bit of a cult.

It, and its companion piece 'The Roast', was terrible, even when I was 10. But "it's all we had". Plus - b00bies!

I wonder why they chose to put a mask on Black Canary when the comics character hadn't worn one in ... 30+years at the time. Strange the way Hollywood is completely bereft of ideas and feels the need to compensate by changing things randomly.

I watched these when they originally ran and recently rewatched some clips on youtube.  Just as bad as I remember it.

Apparently there must be some interest in it though as it been released by Warners as part of their on demand Warner Archives imprint.

I was duly impressed by all the trouble the guy who did the blog went to in tracking down the actors from the show.

Best

I have a really corny superhero show on the hard disc - Electro Woman and Dyno Girl.  Most of the folk on CB+ probably are familiar with the show but I'd never seen or heard of it till I stumbled across it on someone's blog.  I'm not sure if good is the word but it was a bit of a laugh.

I think Legends immediately turned me off. I was also unable to get interested in Electra Woman and Dynagirl...the show not the good looking women.
