Man, really?  :'(

Well, at least he left one heck of a legacy behind him!

Too sad I never read anything about him having health issues. I thought he was still going strong.

Unmatched. One of my favorites throughout his extended career. He was a master. We are so fortunate to have that legacy to review again and again.

Just the other day I was looking at this oversized DC comic special of Bible stories featuring Joe Kubert art. A number of my friends had attended his school, haven't talked to any of them in years. Really saddened to hear of his passing...

This is indeed sad news.  I always admired his work and  there was that anticipation of excitement as you opened a book with his work.

One of my early comic book heroes: The Viking Prince. And my love for Kubert's work simply grew from there.

I'm just so glad he was on the planet and doing so much great work. I love digging through old comics from the 50s and seeing his unmistakable touch here and there.

I was the only little girl I knew who loved Sgt Rock of Easy Company.
