Yeah, and it's not just "safe," it's a matter of being right, since every book that slips through the cracks here makes us seem a less reliable source. Something isn't in the public domain just because we might not get caught.

It's one thing if the properties were sold to an entity that no longer exists, but if Dell still owns the properties, it's entirely in their rights to do nothing with them and pretend they don't exist. "Abandonware" is exactly the idea that got the Blackmask guy into trouble, remember. He decided that the Doc Savage stories MUST be in the public domain because Conde Nast hadn't used them and didn't acknowledge them.

They file a renewal it is not PD, does not matter what the current companies stance on comics is, the comic is still copyright protected unless Dell actually states they have made it PD. Any comics that have their copyright renewed is not PD, and that includes nearly all the later Dells.

More government pamphlets available in unsorted. This is Ann is not really a comic but should still be interesting to some. Have some books in Suspect Folder to be checked by the experts. I think Mox and Leatherhead should be OK but they may have been renewed.

I believe we have the complete Navy History and Traditions now. GCD lists a 1778-1782 because those years are missing from the series. Does anyone know if this issue exists? Also added is Quaint Cartoons of my birth state PA. By the downloads it seems that these government giveaways are pretty popular. I am glad because, while it was much easier than scanning them myself, it did take some work to get them ready for this site.

I've enjoyed the Navy comics.

Mile High lists a 1778-82 but has none for sale and does not show a cover so it's not conclusive.

Pinky said narf as well as other things. It also stood for our school club Nebulous Abstract Reality Federation. Often called by others Nerds Are Really Fun our slogan was we are out there.

In the process of editing After Dark #6-8, Informer #5, Pop-Pop Comics #1, Billy The Kid #9, Cheyenne Kid #12, and Zaza The Mystic #11. And of course Marvels Of Science #4 to finish the series off.

I have problems half the time uploading to the ftp (usually disconnects), and one of you mentioned somewhere that you were short on time having to rename all the files uploaded to fit the format you wanted, so I stopped uploading here. Don't really have time to rename all of my scans just to upload them here. All are posted to abpc or on certain comics hubs in their original and unaltered form.

The FTP will disconnect quite frequently but it usually will automatically reconnect and resume the upload Fett.
It does with FlashFXP anyways. In a perfect world your files would reflect our file name format but it that's the main reason for not uploading PLEASE don't worry about it. It helps us but it's not impossible to change your file names before they are added or even after.
