Luckily, the Highway Dept kept a box of dynamite and a detonator in a shack in the woods, secured by only a small padlock. |

Meanwhile, back in the present, some boys smash the helmet (existing in both times) and Phil materializes. The scientist informs Phil that he is now stuck in the past, where Phil ultimately finds happiness... and love. |
