| Synopsis | After saving a group of natives whose canoe was being tossed by a stormy sea, Konga comes ashore on the island of Uuang-Ni, a small Polynesian island dwarfed by a huge volcano. Just then the volcano erupts and Konga sees two huge dragons crawling out. Initially fearful, Konga's courage is boosted by a lone native woman who mentions how a prince will fulfill a prophecy by defeating the dragons of the volcano. Konga then engages the dragons in battle defeating them and causing them to retreat back into the volcano. The natives are grateful that their 'prince" saved their island. |

| Notes | After this issue the series would become Fantastic Giants with #24 which contained a reprint of Konga #1. This would be the last Konga comic for Charlton as the licence would expire. Steve Ditko (who illustrated many of the issues of this series) payed homage to Konga in Web of Spider-Man Annual #6 (1990). In one story called "Child Star" featuring the character Captain Universe, the hero brings his toys "Kongo" and "Gorga" to life to fight the villains. |
