second issue not as good as the first but still quite decent favorite story for me is the living ghost even if somehow he gained his missing eyeball this time around,,lol |

Synopsis | Turgot, the Puppet Master, animates and controls his autonomous and murderous dolls. His affections spurned by his young assistant Jeanne, he has his dolls try to kill her. Jeanne's brother, Pierre, comes to her rescue. Turgot dies trying to kill Pierre. Turgot's house remains empty until Ralph and Gloria purchase the house and ship it from France to the U.S. where they rebuild the house. Turgot returns as a ghost, and his puppets are again active. Ralph uses a flame gun to destroy them all. |

Synopsis | The Living Ghost returns to kidnap Gail Leslie, in a new bid to make her his queen. Tony Brand consults with Dr. VanDyke, who suggests The Dark Phantom may be of aid. The Living Ghost and the Phantom hate each other. Professor Mavelli assists Tony Brand in contacting the minions of The Dark Phantom, who whisk Tony away to the phantom's Tibetan retreat. The Dark Phantom agrees to fight The Living Ghost, and is triumphant. He then turns on Gail and Tony, but Tony has a relic given to him by VanDyke to destroy the phantom. |

Synopsis | Betty Saunders is a world renowned expert on the artwork of 15th century artist, Kees Van Ruyter. Van Ruyter's paintings depict monstrous creatures. In 1496, Van Ruyter killed himself by throwing his hands under the wheels of a moving oxcart, severing them. Betty recreates his horrific paintings with monstrous creatures depicted therein. A human looking ghoul hires Betty to go to his mansion in Belgium and paint pictures Van Ruyter's style. The ghost of Van Ruyer has Betty paint a picture of the ghoul. When the painting is revealed, the ghoul is destroyed. |
