Though it has its moments, the indifferent art kind of scuttles this adaptation. The enormous lettering is obtrusive. |

The artist is George Kerr. He used 'L Bing' as a nom-de-plume on some of his early strips. He was a vintage illustrator who did a lot of work for Dell in the 1940s. |
