Black Cat comic series (1947)is fab! The artwork by Lee Elias is crisp, bold and even modern for its time , I look forward to reading the entire run.

Totally agree, Cosmokat. If we had an annual award on this site, this would be up there in my top five.

In the editorial, the "Black Cat" writes "You'll be seeing me in stories more thrilling and more terrifying than ever before. I won't appear in all of the amazing accounts myself..." And sure enough, the Black Cat is not in any of the stories in this issue, just on the cover, and in future issues she is not seen at all.
