| I find Paddock's stuff to be head and shoulders above the other art in these early Speed Comics. He can be SO expressive and dynamic, as if he were mailing in his stories from the future. (|:{> |

| What I like about the Mars Mason story (other than the fact that the hero is a mailman) is the same thing that made Kirby's Cosmic Carson stories stand out: highly individualistic designs for things like spacesuits and spacecraft, not the same old Flash Gordon and pulp-magazine designs most other artists were using. |
