However, George discovers Lana is just using him to make her boyfriend jealous. George and Helen realize they love each other.

Naomi meets fellow sculptor Eric and they fall in love, but he doesn’t know she’s deaf and she doesn’t hear him propose marriage or tell her that Rodney’s a cheat. Eric abducts Naomi and forces her to read Rodney’s lips when he confesses. Naomi and Eric reconcile.

Now aware Elizabeth didn’t jilt his uncle, Miles apologizes to Peggy. She takes him back.

Her fiancé Larry enters the room: he’s “Stan.” Larry had identified her earlier, but pretended to be Stan to help bring her memory back.
