Some nice artwork, though I prefer Ghost Rider stories.

This is the very same Lone Rider created by Jack Kirby as "Lightnin' and the Lone Rider" back in 1939 -- originally intended by Victor Fox for newspaper strip syndication, it wound up running in FAMOUS FUNNIES #61-82 (August 1939-May 1941). Amazingly, Victor Fox never published the character in his own comic book line in the 1940s (maybe his "litigation sense" told him otherwise), but apparently (?) Fox somehow wound up selling the character to Bob Farrell (along with Samson). 26 issues is an impressive run for such a transparent knockoff character, and Farrell bounced back in 1957 with another 5 issues of THE RIDER (which mostly reprinted stories from *this* series), who again is the very same character, renamed so as to be less legally actionable.
