| Turns out that Gene Colan did the pencils on the first episode of Ken Shannon, Crash, and he did some of inking here, too, don't you think? |

| GCD is correct in ID'ing Sid Greene. I don't know the two-page picto-crime. It might be Quinlan & somebody, but really it's just ????? Then it's Alice Kirkpatrick, followed by Charles Quinlan - both only doing pencils. Wonder why Greene gets to ink his own work? Anderson has a hand in the inks, but mostly they are by someone else. | JVJ, I'm with you on some Colan inks for the first story...especially story page 8 (preview page 11). Two guesses for Greene inking his own stuff: (1) It's only two pages, so who cares (2) Editor figures his ink style is "Quality" enough. |

| crashryan. Sid Greene is on Inspector Denver and it's 7 pages. I agree that it's quality enough! Beautiful work, as always. I don't know who's doing that two page filler.

This is Greene, identified by rather small heads with rounded features and chin, and the way people stand as hinged at the hip, like on page 4. Barrel torsos with arms and legs stuck to it, and the very typical female with wide chest and narrow waist as on last page. Also the mother running with arm outstretched at top of page one is a Green specialty. Compare with his many stories in Mystery in Space where all this is carried even further. |
