So, how much of this Ken Shannon story do you folks think is Reed Crandall and how much is Chuck Cuidera aping him? I don't know either, but when you compare the Blackhawk cover on page 15 which is pure Crandall with the mock-Crandall on page 14, you'll see why I'm confused. I believe he's much better than this Ken Shannon work. Pull up Blackhawk #41 (which also was NOT inked by RC) and compare. Your thoughts?

As far as I know, W.G. Hargis, who is supposed to have done Inspector Denver here, never worked for DC. So why does this story remind me so much of DC? There are Dan Barry, Gil Kane, Murphy Anderson, etc. influences all over the place. Are these swipes? What's going on here? Is this really Hargis? |

Inspector Denver reminds me more of Joe Giella with Sid Greene inks. |
