If you like Pretty girls in pretty clothes. humorous ideas well drawn - look for "Betty" every Sunday in this paper. She is charming to look at. Her dresses and coiffures, represent the very latest in fashions Betty is an all-round sport. She can drive an automobile as well as she can a golf ball and she could talk and smile her way out of the Tower of London. Her mother indulges in one nervous fit after another over Betty's escapades. Her lather's attempts at discipline never withstand Betty's coaxings. Her suiters are innumerable and very funny. Her girl friends are almost as pretty as Betty berself. YOU ALL HAVE SEEN AND LAUGHED OVER MR. VOIGHTS "PETEY DINK". "BETTY" IS JUST AS AMUSING. Mr. Voight began his career very early in life. He drew comics for the New York Fvening World at the age of fourteen, and a year or so later he was doing sporting cartoons for the same paper. It was while working for the Boston Traveler that he originated "Gink and Dink", which later developed into "Petey Dink" - one of the most famous daily comics now appearing in the newspapers. Mr. Voight is recognized by every one, even by artists themselves, to be the leading comic artist of the day. He is among the humorous artiste found most frequently in Life, Judge, etc. The beauty of his workmanship is second to none. In "Betty", a page which is appearing every Sunday in this paper, Mr. Voight is doing his very best work, both artistically and humorously. | |||
