Roger turns into a “mad beast,” jealously attacking Bill. They’re all rescued by a passing ship in the nick of time. Gloria breaks up with Roger and will marry Bill. |

Doris is hired as Bill’s secretary. Bill suffers a mental breakdown due to her presence, but eventually recovers his memory and he and Doris are reunited. |

However, Connie feels guilty for stealing Peggy’s husband and she rejects Bob once again, falsely claiming she doesn’t love him. |
