What a GREAT comic this is! Norman Maurer is not only one of the great names in comics (check out his Crimebuster work in Boy Comics), but he LOOMS LARGE in Stooges history. How large? Well, for starters he was Moe Howard's son-in-law. Need more? When the Three Stooges' careers were on the ropes after the end of their tenure at Columbia, Mr. Maurer helped them get started in a new direction - feature films. It was an actual step UP, and kept them in the public eye, along with the popularity of the Stooges shorts on television. He also wrote and directed some of them too, I believe. The stories in this comic are Stooge-y, indeed, the cover alone pretty much says it all. Throw in some OUTSTANDING early Joe Kubert and an ad for the first 3-D comic (which was produced by Kubert and Maurer) and it all adds up to a terrific package, and one that your old pal Uncle Robin HAS TO give a ten out of ten. I hope you agree!
