| the story , 'The Devils of Tajumulco' is credited to Lou Cameron. I have my doubts. It looks little like what I have come to expect from Cameron's work, some of the figures could be Cameron, but the inking style is definitely not his.
Out of left field but I'm going to say Mort Drucker, who is credited with having worked for St. John.
'Early in the 1950s, Drucker left his DC staff gig and began doing full-time freelance work for a number of comic book publishers such as Dell, Atlas and St. John's, as well as several humor and war titles for his former employer.'

| I respectfully disagree, Panther. Cameron signed the story and most figures and faces look like his work. Check the bad guys' faces on pp. 18 & 19, and compare them to Cameron's work on Classics Illustrated stories like "The Bottle Imp" and, especially, "The Beach of Falesa." That said, I'd entertain Mort Drucker for "The Lottery Ticket." |

| Joe Kubert was particularly inspired with this cover & story, wow! Such a visual treat. Too bad the entire series wasn't like this. His other stories in this series aren't on that level either. Even the coloring is top notch. |
