Barry breaks up with her as a result. Helen eventually comes to understand that the money cannot make her happy; she will hand it over to the authorities and hope for a reconciliation with Barry. |

Informed by her brother that it was Larry who defrauded Bart and not the other way around, Jean confesses to her scheme and gives Bart her savings to rescue the company. Bart forgives Jean and they reconcile. |
