The text story/cover story is fun in this one because of the ending! |
'You are yesterday! Without a future! Forever!'
Wow! 'I'm speechless!' |
Eye-catching classic blonde in a red dress cover – my 10c would have hit the vendor faster than a .22-calibre Swift. The story lives up to the cover too as Undercover Girl, after escaping from the necessary subaqua bondage, tracks down an atom scientist with the help of heroic Abe Lincoln lookalike, Bryan Flobbly.
DI Kirk investigates a mysterious death at a séance. The psychic is called Afrite (Arabic for demon) – is that a clue? I’m not going to spoil the ending but there’s a lip-smacking twist to complement the intense pencils of Ogden Whitney – a classic.
Fallon of the FBI keeps his mind on the job, despite being surrounded by babes in red, white and blue, as he pursues trail road hijackers – “Being out in the cold night air sure gives a man an appetite,” he says, glancing significantly to his right – I know exactly what he means. |
Both Ogden Whitney's blonde "Undercover Girl" and his blonde cover girl look like contemporary blonde movie star Lizabeth Scott. |
