| This edition of Beware and also, the two mags preceding, 10 & 11 are top notch reading in every respect, the artwork and tales of terror. I love this stuff and these are gems. |

| I love the last story. Nice touch of black humour. Some of these pre-code comics had very imaginative stories.
This is the last issue of Beware put out by Youthful. The magazine was taken over by Trojan with issue #13. Confusingly Youthful also continued publishing a magazine with an issue 13 but changed the title to Chilling Tales. |

| Interesting name drops of Ed Goldfarb, Bob Baer, Harry Harrison, Ernie Bache, and Steve Kirkel on page 12, whom had all worked on Youthful’s Fantastic #9 just a few months earlier. |

| So the cover artist here is unknown? That's a shame since it's quite terrific. Some of the anatomical detail and hatching is almost Lou Fine quality! EDIT: Oh, now I see the cover and last story are credited to a "Joe Sokoli" on the handwritten file card, but this hasn't been entered into the typed info. |
