"Aguia Negra" (Black Eagle) is how the Australian comic book hero "Sir Falcon" was renamed in the Brazil. Sir Falcon is very reminiscent of Lee Falk's "The Phantom". In Australia, "Sir Falcon" was published by Frew Publications, the same company responsible for the Australian edition of the Phanto's comic book. In Brazil, Sir Falcon or "Aguia Negra" was published by RGE (Rio Grafica e Editora), the same company responsible for the Brazilian edition of the Phantom's comic book.

Notice the cartoon version of The Phantom in the ad on our page 18. Also, could the art on the back cover ad be by Hugo Pratt?

Hi! The ad was drawn by Hugo Pratt. At the time, he was living in Argentina and the Panamericana had art schools in, at least, two South American Countries: Argentina, where Pratt was teacher, and Brazil, where one ofo the first teachers was the Portuguese artist Jayme Cortez.
