| Synopsis | Gale falls in love with medical student John while he’s home on vacation. They become engaged but events occur which make Gale suspect John’s mother and sister don’t approve. John becomes jealous of Gale’s ex-boyfriend Steve and calls off the wedding. However, when he overhears his sister and mother tell Gale that they didn’t approve of her as John’s potential wife, John asserts himself. He and Gale will be married, no matter what his family thinks. |

Carlotta gets a job as a store clerk incognito and falls for her supervisor, Walter. However, she discovers Walter knows her true identity and also craves her fortune. Carlotta decides she’ll marry faithful Denny instead. |

Her father returns to face the legal charges and learns he was cleared years before. Dean and Margo can now marry with a clean conscience. |
