I'm surprised that there haven't been many comments on this comics since it covers the way the Little Wise Guys were formed, and how they got involved with Daredevil. It also defends vigilante justice, which is questionable, and shows Meatball, the little wise guy who died in (I think) two issues later. The importance of comic books, among other things, was a view of the culture of the period, and this seems to be more revealing than most of the comics of this period It would be interesting to get into a discussion of the values of this period -- including the Nazis and the KKK. |
