If you want to see how good Sekowsky could be this is a good example. I never thought I'd ever be championing Sekowsky - I was first introduced to him via the justice League and I always felt he was ill suited to that book.

The funniest thing about this adaptation is the decision to conceal all the famous people in it--so Bing Crosby wears heavy horn-rimmed glasses, and so on. Were they all added afterward? Sekowsky got Shirley Jones just about right, so I'm wondering if his renditions of Robinson and Crosby and Chevalier and so on were all more faithful before someone decided they couldn't afford famous people in the comic book. Anyway, my timing is perfect. I was just watching the movie and saw that there was a Four Color version and came here to find it. Thanks for the chuckle!
