Synopsis | In a small Polish village, known for its pipe manufacturing, the inhabitants are having trouble with The Manager, who is demanding they dynamite the ground containing the brair root used in the manufacture of the pipes that he buys. Unfortunately, the explosions unleash a hidden underground river that engulfs the people, and it is the Heap who saves them. Grateful to the Heap, Hans vows to find the largest briar root possible and carve it into a lifesize Heap, which the Manager threatens to steal. |
