This is the Mr. Monster who later appeared in Eclipse and Dark Horse books? Right?
I like it. The artwork is pretty cool and the stories are definately pre-code! Ouch! |
I assume someone else noticed this, but the title page has been written on by one Michael T Gilbert, signed 2004. Gilbert is the guy who revived the character. I'm Stoked! There appears to be another signature there, but it may be just scribble. |
The other "scribble" on the title page is a signature by Golden Age Mr. Monster creator Fred Kelly. It was signed with Gilbert at the 2004 Paradise Convention in Toronto, Fred's only con appearance. The two met for the first time and shared a panel. Fred passed on the following year. |
