SynopsisJasmine is visiting wealthy friends in the Deep South and meets a young man she thinks is a poor trapper. They fall in love but she can’t imagine living as a member of the poverty-stricken class. During a flood, Jasmine and her brother Tony are stranded in a house with a poor family and the trapper. Since their lives are in danger, Jasmine admits she loves him. When they’re rescued, Jasmine discovers the “trapper” is Rod, a rich landowner and “famous aviator,” so he’s socially acceptable after all.
