She visits the hit-and-run victim, Brad Kent, in hospital and the two fall in love. Wes wants Anne for himself, and when his trial is held, he vengefully reveals Anne was in the car with him. She is cleared of any wrongdoing. Brad forgives her and the two look forward to marriage.
