There is supposed to be a Gil Kane/Infantino story, 'The Golden eagle' in this. If so, its missing.

Looks like the scanner's copy was missing pages, Panther, but you can see the last page of the Golden Eagle story and the signatures Katz & Infantino in the last panel.

Contact Comics is definitely a great example to show to anyone who doubts 1940s comic book art was good and wants to get a decent idea of how good it could be beyond Joe Shuster, Bob Kane, and Jack Kirby’s art. It had talent like L. B. Cole, John Giunta, George Appel, Nina Albright, Rudy Palais, Jack Alderman, Manny Stallman, and Alvin Hollingsworth, most of whom I think are pretty underappreciated artists. It’s like the all-star team of comic book artists of the day really.
