Afterwards, Jeff rejects the selfish and vain Bea and realizes Jill is the woman for him.

She gets a job with Mr. Allis but is later accused of stealing money by office manager Jean, who knows of Nora’s past. Nora is cleared of the second robbery and returns to face the original charges. Gil says he only dated Fran to keep an eye on her: she stole the $500. Gil and Nora are reunited.
