Irv Novick and everybody involved pulled all the stops out on this one. And at 100 pages, one of the most faithful comic movie adaptations I've seen.

SynopsisHans is sent away from the town of Odense because his story-telling interferes with the childrens' schooling. He and his apprentice Peter go to Copenhagen, where he writes stories, selling some to a newspaper and one to a ballet company before returning to Odense with a broken heart.
