| Grand Comics Database claims there should be a Bagshaw Bear story in this issue. Are they wrong or are there pages missing? It does say it has 51 pages, and I think the standard for many comics this size was more like 64 pages. |

| That is an error in GCD. That Bagshaw Bear story appeared first in Goofy Comics #15. It was NOT in Goofy #7, which I have. Jack Bradbury's Bagshaw Bear didn't appear until 1945. Also, the Goofy 7 book only had 52 pages. Goofy Comics #4 was the last Goofy to have 60 pages. It was cut down to 52 in mid 1944, because of WWII Wartime paper use restrictions to publishers. The amount of production that Sangor Studios had produced for Better/Nedor Publications ahead of time, was issued in Giant comics that Better/Nedor issued by buying unused paper allotments owned by unrelated book publishers (America's Biggest Comic Book (1944), and (Complete Book of Comics & Funnies (1944). |
