Synopsis | Charlie Thomas had dated May Wilson for several weeks, and was always impressed with her maturity. While only seventeen, he thought she was as mature as he was at twenty. But Charlie had a commitment to his invalid sister, Edie, and told May he couldn't marry. May offers to help with Edie, and the two hit it off. But May eventually feels put-upon, and when she fails to give Edie her medicine, she ends up in the emergency room. Initially Charlie is furious, but it is Edie who forgives, and Charlie asks May when they can set the date. |
