Either he was totally bonkers or privy to the thoughts of an alien subterranean race, but one thing’s for sure, you can’t ignore Richard Sharpe Shaver. His ‘factional’ stories were presented as true fact disguised as fiction. They spawned a series of Shaver clubs and launched a quasi-religion before burning out in the sixties.
This one isn’t part of the Deros canon but is a decent enough yarn that wouldn’t have been out of place in Weird Tales. |
