Synopsis | Private Jack Weston receives a coded message for him to investigate the death of a military intelligence agent in Egypt, whose last words were "The Mummy lives!" before he died. While doing so, he bumps into an Arab who strangely speaks German fluently, and follows him to a secreted Egyptian temple. There he discovers the supposed mummy of Rameses II, who speaks to the faithful and encourages them to support the efforts of the enemies of the American and British invaders. In the end, Minute Man finds out that the mummy is a Nazi in disguise. |

The AC reprint lists Phil Bard as the artist, but the Who's Who indicates many artists working on the strip in this time period. Until some art spotter can conclusively ID this art as Bard, the ? remains.
At story's end, Weston is promoted to the rank of Corporal. |
