Does anyone know, if this and other C.C. books in the 'Odds And Ends' section, were originally newspaper comics? Thanks in advance. :-)
   By SuperScrounge
Yes. While there were several unauthorized Chaplin comics, Charlie Chaplin's Comic Capers (1916-1917) was authorized through Essenay Studios, who had the right to distribute Chaplin's short films. The agreement ended when Chaplin left Essenay for Mutual.
