This entire book was drawn and written by animator/newspaper comic strip artist, Irv Spector, who worked in animation for Fleischer Studios, Warner Brothers, Paramount and Hanna Barbera, drew and wrote the newspaper comic strip, "Coogey", and also drew and wrote comic book series "Muggy Doo (Boy Cat)" and "The Farmer's Daughter" for Stanhall Publications, in addition to "Lucky Duck". The missing interior front and back covers were single page advertisements. So, no artwork is missing from this uploaded version of this book.

Thank you for posting this. Robb, I am absolutely prepared to accept your judgment here. However, the other issues posted here credit the art, which doesn't look markedly different, to Jack Bradbury, idenified by Jerry Bails. I think accuracy is important. You may wish to contact GCD and state the case. Cheers!

Every page in the book has artwork that is exactly Irv Spector's wacky style, that you can see in his drawings in his "Muggy-Doo (Boy Cat)" comics, and his "the Farmer's Daughter" Comics, both published by Stanhall Publications, and his "Coogy" newspaper strip. His son, on his "SpectorPhile" at: irvspector.blogspot.com where he states that his father wrote and drew all pages in the 4 "Muggy-Doo (Boy Cat)", and 4 "Lucky Duck" books. That was what I've heard for over 50 years, and matches what I see in the artwork. ALL of it looks exactly like Spector's style, and none of it looks like Jack Bradbury's hand. I have never heard that Jack Bradbury had drawn ANY of those books, or seen anything in print saying that he did other than GCD listing Bradbury as the artist followed with a question mark. Spector's son had preliminary art from that series, and, I believe, watched him doing the drawing when he was a child. Maybe GCD should contact Spector's son.

Thanks, Robb – I’m by no means an expert on funny animal stories but I enjoyed being led into this one – there’s a manic quality about the art that pulls you through. I would have liked a few more characters though to add some range and options to the otherwise constant head-to-head full-on plotline
