Synopsis | When the military hears an S.O.S. from outer space, scientists construct a rocket to harness Captain Atom's power. When he arrives he finds that the former inhabitants had created a civilization so perfect that they grew bored, and took to space leaving their lifeless planet as a reminder that intelligent beings must always be bold. Atom makes insecticide, fills the atmosphere with it in order to kill the insects, and returns to the earth. |
