| Harvey knew how to stretch a dollar: there are a number of features in this magazine reprinted from previous Harvey comics, and it appears a lot of the single-page cartoons were re-used at least once and in some cases twice in later Harvey publications. They also throw in some text joke pages, at least one "puzzle" page, two pin-up photos (supplied free by Hollywood studios), and (on page 86 of the scan), a "connect-the-dots" page which looks like it was taken from a children's activity book! It even says "take your crayons and color the picture"!! |

'Don Flowers (1908–1968) was an American cartoonist best known for his syndicated panel Glamor Girls. Flowers was noted for his fluid ink work, prompting Coulton Waugh to write that Flowers displayed "about the finest line ever bequeathed to a cartoonist. It dances; it snaps gracefully back and forth; the touches related."[1]'
