Thanks for fixing it, Paw. The date should read "Fall 1953". It was drawn by Al Hubbard, and written and storyboarded by John Stanley.

Actually, this book should be housed together with all the other Dell/Western Publishing Four Color Comics, where the other three Andy Hardy Four Color Series books currently sit. Four Color Comics was Western's "catch-all" series for titles that were not yet proven to be worthy of having their own numbered, regularly-released issues. Despite having their lead character in the book title, that character did not have its own series while having sporadic issues released in the Four Color Series.

Only a thought but going by the indicia, this is an Andy Hardy comic. Same with other Dell titles. Yes, I know, before I get shouted at, all about 4 Color. It simply seems counter intuitive. Please don't go into GCD'S ways of listing for me. I have always preferred to file Dells under title. I happily accept our way of doing things on CB+. There is something bee like buzzing about in my aging brain about this one.

I really enjoyed this Andy Hardy comic. He gets in the usual scrapes trying to impress Polly Benedict, but there are some interesting twists, such as Andy working as a male escort to earn some extra cash. They use the word 'gigolo' in the comic, but I'm assuming escorts had a whole different connotation in the 1950s. All above board here. The art is really good. Thanks for uploading it.
