I suspect the "Rimfire Ferguson" story was originally "Hopalong Cassidy," based on the character's appearance (close resemblance to William Boyd), the "Bar 20" references, and the blatantly obvious re-lettering whenever "Rimfire" appears in a caption or dialogue balloon. |
