Superman taught me that superheroes don't kill, so it is rather startling to see Dr. Strange casually murdering hundreds! |

It took comics a bit of time to realize that the main audience was kids not adult pulp readers so heroes taking the law into their own hands tended to happen. even Superman had some early stories where he didn't seem to care what happened to a crook once they were off-panel. ;-) |
