KOKEY KOALA AND HIS MAGIC BUTTON 36 by Noel Cook was published by Elmsdale Publications in June 1951 (estimated). Kit contains three stories, each separate from each other, and generally aimed at a younger audience. KOKEY KOALA is a funny animal/superhero hybrid, with Kokey gaining powers by pressing his magic button. WHIZZ THE WIZARD is a mentor to Bim, the real star of the strip, who faces a range of mild challenges. And, for this issue only, SHADOMAN is a superhero who is actually a shadow separated from a reporter who is a dab hand at fighting crime. (The third feature varies throughout the run.) Noel Cook is a talented and versatile artist, given an opportunity to show some range in storytelling here. There is more information about this book at the bottom of the page

Thanks Dan, for uploading this rare Aussie Funny Animal book. I've been looking for such books, having only front and back covers from so many. I'm actually looking for the one and only Kokey Koala comic book published in USA during the USA during the 1950s, Kokey Koala #1, published by Toby Press in 1952, including a few Kokey stories and gags, a Splashy Platapus story, and a Donny Boy Story. I hope you have access to find that book in Australia. It's dead rare in
USA, sand never came to Canada, as far as I know.
