It's clear by the style of the front cover's artwork, and the style of the vertical "Fear" logo in the upper left corner, reading downward, that Ajax (Robert Ferrell) intended this new title to look, as much as possible, as the already, very successful, EC line of Horror comic books.

The second story in this issue features some ugly-faced people. Ironically, this is the only one that's signed (Ray). The art and layout isn't necessarily terrible, but Ray sure wasn't much for drawing faces. The first and fourth stories are typical Iger Shop style, while the 3rd story has satisfactory art.
