Looks like John Prentice artwork on the first story. Prentice took over the newspaper strip Rip Kirby after Alex Raymond's untimely demise in 1956 and drew it until the end of the strip in 1999. The balding man on page 7, panel 4 is one of Prentice's stock characters and looks exactly like the character of 'Desmond' from Rip Kirby. Great linework!

The first story isn't Prentice, but it looks like him because the art is loaded with Alex Raymond "Rip Kirby" swipes. The artist does a good job on the Raymond inking style. I know I've seen this guy's work elsewhere and I swear I've seen a name attached, but I can't drag it out of the aging memory vault.
