RANGERS COMICS 83 is an anthology comic published by Action Comics published in October 1957 (estimated). It contains three stories, two of which are by Len Holland. The first story is unsigned, but is in a style similar to Holland’s so it may be a single-creator book. Rangers Comics was originally a title reprinting American comics, mostly from Fiction House. Their Western character, Firehair, was prominent and often cover-featured. Very occasionally, there were some Australia-created comics. Around issue 50, this flipped and Australian content dominated. Paul Wheelahan was often the cover artist, and the stories were contemporary war stories rather than the Westerns from the beginning of the run. This may be the last issue of this title (it is often thought that was #82, but that is plainly not true). There is more information about this book at the bottom of the page

@OzMan - the issues of this comic are sparse, and #76 is not one of them. Wheelahan provided covers for a number of issues, and the indexing available often doesn't extend to the contents, so there may be other stories by Paul Wheelahan to be found in this title.
