Leslie Turner's Captain Easy is an under-appreciated treasure. Turner combined great drawing, lively posing, excellent compositions, and terrific backgrounds--plus some very good stories. It's a shame the strip's not better-known.

Captain Easy is possibly the best story strip ever. There is no waste -- every frame serves to move the story along and the stories keep you wanting more. Great art and fine story telling. Probably my favorite strip that isn't Pogo or Calvin and Hobbs.
